Find a compact set of colors from a photo, illustration, or screenshot. The tool samples a smaller local canvas, groups nearby RGB values into stable buckets, and ranks them by pixel count. Click a result to copy its hexadecimal color.

How to use Palette Extractor

  1. Choose an image with the colors you want to inspect.
  2. Run the extractor to sample its visible pixels.
  3. Click any swatch to copy the hexadecimal value.

Things worth knowing

  • The result favors common colors, not necessarily the most visually important object.
  • Transparent pixels are ignored.
  • Similar colors are quantized into nearby buckets so tiny variations do not dominate the list.

Frequently asked questions

Why is the color slightly different from one pixel?

The extractor groups nearby values into buckets. This produces a useful palette instead of thousands of nearly identical colors.

Can NooCloud see the extracted palette?

No. Pixel sampling and ranking run in the current browser tab.
